Holiday Gift Guide 2012: Tiny Love Gymini Move & Play Mat Giveaway *CLOSED*

How about a gift for baby the whole family can use? Well… I like playing with it at least!

The Tiny Love Gymini Move & Play Mat is by far my favorite large activity toy yet for my children.

Big brother A loves to get into the Gymini – whether the baby is in there or not! He loves how one of the mobile settings has the baby hit the hanging toy in the middle to start a song – he bats at it to begin a new round of music for his baby brother!

Lightweight, easy to fold up and move/store, it’s perfect for me to carry from room to room. It’s an extra-large mat, but the sides snap up to provide a safe border and slightly smaller footprint if you need to squeeze into a smaller room.

The best feature, to me, is how the arch connector slides back and forth and side to side, meaning you can set up the playmat in various ways, instead of just a smack-in-the-middle mobile toy.  Plus, sliding the connector to the back or side allows me to pick my baby up without his head hitting any of the hanging toys on the way!

Besides the musicle mobile and hanging toys (which you can slide up and down for easy repositioning), the mat itself offers endless play opportunities. Colors, animals, textures, sewn in fringes on the zebra mane, or crinkly-material in the elephants ear will keep your baby amused!

I did have to place this playmat on some foam flooring, because we have hardwood floors so the light padding inside the mat wasn’t quite enough to keep baby’s head comfortable. But that was an easy fix!

I really like that is is portable. Its hard to find toys that don’t take up a ton of room and so its a nice feature.
