Bump Ahead! Earth Mama Angel Baby ~ Giveaway

This event is brought you by our exclusive event sponsor: A Mother’s Boutique!

I’m so excited about announcing our pregnancy, I had to start my Bump Ahead Maternity / Baby Event a wee bit early (it’ll really get going in February!).

The past month I’ve been using a great set of products especially for mamas-to-be by Earth Mama Angel Baby – the A Little Something for The Mama-To-Be pampering set.

I’ve enjoyed hearing my readers’ pregnancy experiences from your comments on my pregnancy announcement post… I think we can agree, that first trimester takes it out of most women… it feels good to give yourself a little “extra” pampering when you’re hit with nausea and exhaustion! Since I’ve had both of those pregnancy side-effects, I’ve certainly been enjoying these lovely travel-sized items:

The set comes in a cute purse pack, great for travel. Or, tuck into a baby shower gift so the mama gets a little treat too!

Earth Mama Angel Baby is committed to making products safe for pregnancy and for the entire family! Their products are “100% toxin-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and free from all artificial preservatives, fragrances and dyes.” Earth Mama Angel Baby carries products for pregnancy, post-partum, breastfeeding, baby, family, and gifts, as well as baby loss products. I was especially touched by their care and concern for moms who have lost their babies, understanding that they need special post-partum care as well… sometimes this is forgotten.

BUY IT: Check out the full product line at Earth Mama Angel Baby, and follow them on Facebook and Twitter to keep up with news and sales! Oh, and be sure to check out their Free Stuff page – recipes, articles, printables – even a birth plan!

WIN IT: One lucky reader will win A Little Something for The Mama-To-Be set from Earth Mama Angel Baby! (ARV $19.95).

How have you pampered yourself (or someone you know) when pregnant?

TO ENTER: Leave a topic-related comment on this post to enter! Generic comments like “Enter me” or “I want to win!” do not qualify.

GIVEAWAY RULES: Giveaway ends 11:59 EST on Monday, January 30, 2011. Winner is selected via And The Winner Is and emailed directly; winner must reply within 48 hours of email notification. Good luck! Open US and CANADA. Fulfillment handled by Earth Mama Angel Baby.

I love the Earth mama angel baby foaming wash. I use it on my daughter. I love that it’s gentle and natural. I’d love to try more products!!

  • Amy N. says:

I was not able to be pampered when pregnant due to DH being unemployed up until the month I delivered our daughter. I lost my job when FMLA ran out as I lost 40 lbs during the pregnancy due to severe nausea and vomiting. I then developed gestational diabetes. If I won this prize, I would give it to a wonderful young lady that I know who is struggling financially as a pre-school teacher. Her husband of less than a year is a journeyman apprentice Electrician. They are due in March.

  • Ooh…I LOVE their Happy Mama body wash and spray! Missed it during the first trimester this time around. I’m interested in their Body Butter and Oil, especially because last time my belly ended up covered in them. I don’t quite need them yet, but I’ll be there before I know it!

  • Melissa H. says:

I’m not too far along yet, but I try to pamper myself a little. :) I love using EMAB stretch oil and body butter.

  • Brandy Anderson says:

I love EMAB products! It is really good to know that your not covering yourself with toxins when you have a bun in the oven! :) I am wanting to try their c-section cream also.

  • Christine M Tubbytelly says:

I have tried the Nipple Butter but found out my baby was allergic so now I use it on my cracked hands. Hopefully the next baby won’t be allergic if I am lucky enough to win the set. I didn’t try any products for mom before the first baby. I used the least amount of products I could so as to minimize toxic exposure. I had not heard of these great natural and organic companies until after discovering my baby’s allergies and researching online.

  • Katy Emanuel says:

Love the Earth Mama Angel Baby products. When my little one was born she sure made a mess of my nipples while she was learning to feed and the only thing that helped was the Earth Mama Angel Baby Natural Nipple Butter. My daughter loved the taste of it too, since every time I put it on she would want to feed. We also have a lot of skin sensitivities in this family so the only cream that seems to work well for my little one is the Angel Baby Lotion.
I remember my first trimester and the nausea. The only thing that I seemed to be able to keep down was grilled cheese sandwiches. Hope you are through the worst of that.

  • Amanda Alvarado says:

Pampered?? What’s that? I love my dh with all my heart but he does not know the meaning of pampered – preggers or not! LOL I love EMAB products and would love to have this for when I get preggers this year (like the positive thinking?!? I still can’t believe it’s been 3 months already for you!)

  • ikkinlala says:

I’ve pampered friends by baking them treats and babysitting their other kids so they can have a bit of time to themselves. This would be a great gift for a friend who lives too far away that I can do that.

  • Virginia Soul says:

My best friend is pregnant with #2 and would love to give this to her! This was an unexpected pregnancy and this would be perfect for her!

  • Beth R says:

I know several people who are pregnant and this would be a great gift for them.I love butter oil though It is is great

  • T Rex Mom says:

Cocoa butter – I used it religiously during both my pregnancies and no stretch marks. Now the health care provider side of me says it’s probably a genetic thing. The woman part of me says it was my hard work applying it every night. Plus, it just felt good.

I loved the Earth Mama Angel Baby products before but particularly after delivery. The bottom spray was truly a welcome product and I took it with me to the hospital. Highly recommend it. The bottom balm was good but kid of messy with everything else going on down there. The nipple cream was also excellent. Now we sometimes use the baby shampoo/wash. Love the smell.

  • Rachel says:

I pampered my SIL with little surprises in the mail-organic preggie pop drops, piggy paint, EMAB nipple butter, EMAB bottom balm, etc. I’m hoping to get a pedicure soon to celebrate making it to term and help my poor aching feet!

  • Mrs. Smitty says:

When I was pregnant with my first, my husband gave me a gift certificate for a professional prenatal massage. It was absolutely worth it! He also spent 2 months putting my boots on for me because I had a hard time reaching my feet. I didn’t pamper myself, but he sure pampered me.

I do have to say, I love the Earth Mama Angel Baby Happy Mama Head to Toe Wash, I’ll bet the Spray and Body Butter are just as good!

  • Tiffany says:

I pampered myself more with the first pregnancy by taking long baths and showers and napping as much as I needed. But with the 2nd pregnancy and an active toddler pampering or even just me time is hard to come by.

  • Sarah Hull says:

When I was pregnant with my son, I promised myself that I would get one pregnancy massage…and I did! It was lovely! I rarely get “professional” massages (other than from my husband) :) and it was a wonderful treat.

I really didn’t pamper myself when pregnant. I was on bed rest for 1/2 of my pregnancies, so I was house bound. No massages or facials for me. Just sitting on my buns!

  • Ames says:

I loved using their bath salts postpartum!!!

  • Felicia R says:

I got a massage when I was pregnant. It was relaxing but actually not as nice as I thought it would be since they have to be gentle and my boobs were leaking (sexy!).
This pack would be awesome to win! I love that their products are toxin free and only made with good stuff!

Ginger Ale (the very strong kind!) and ginger tea made from grated ginger root were a huge help during my first pregnancy. During the second, mint teas helped. And during the third trimester, the raspberry tea from Earth Mama Angel Baby was great — and maybe it really did help to tone the uterine muscles… :)

I didn’t really need their nipple butter too much when I started nursing, but whenever I DID use it or just smelled it, it made me feel so pampered and happy!

When I was pregnant and feeling fat and swollen, I went and got a pedicure. That was AMAZING!!

Before I gave birth, my pastor’s wife highly recommended that I splurge on buying my favorite shampoo, conditioner, and body was because she said, “That first shower after you give birth will not be like any shower you’ve had before, and you want to pamper yourself.” She was right; so, I’m also giving you that unsolicited recommendation.

  • Mary Michaud says:

I love Earth Mama Angel Baby products. Since I’ve discovered them, I’ve tried to include at least one of their products in baby shower gifts… and also (or at the same time) I’ve tried to include something for mama in the baby shower gift, ever since a kind lady gave me a heating rice pack for my baby shower – even though all the baby gifts definitely helped, it really encouraged and touched me to get something for myself (that really helped too!).

  • Kristin Bowen says:

I love the Earth mama body butter, her products are amazing and I hope to meet her one day given she’s in the same city as her. Maybe when I make it big like her!
