Play to Learn: B. toys Parum Pum Pum ~ Review

Part of how I challenge myself as a mom is to make sure to give my son a variety of experiences to engage all the senses not all at once, of course!). I would love to see him find an interest in music, so we listen to a lot of classical at nap times and kid songs and praise songs on car rides. The music teacher where I used to teach told me once that it’s important to give children a lot of exposure to music before age 4 to develop their aptitude! I definitely want him to enjoy music, and I want him to get excited about making his own joyful noise!

B. toys sent us the Parum Pum Pum set – it’s a parade-for-one ready to go! Eight instruments for rapping, tapping, shaking, banging, jingling… are your ears ringing yet? Because mine are!

There’s a drum with handle and strap, centipede drumsticks, jingle bell ant, busy bee maraca / clacker, caterpillar tambourine, and 2 shaka-shaka eggs (those are my favorite, because they are the quietest!). Each piece is sturdy with flowing shapes perfect for small hands!

I think this toy will be great for when kids come over to play – it’ll not only encourage musical fun, but it’s great for learning to share, because everyone can play a part (pun intended!).
