I admit – it was a cute movie with a moral about friendship and loyalty. I wish they hadn’t used some of the slightly suggestive and/or potty humor though. But overall, enjoyable to watch!
Now, Cars 2 is racing into theatres everywhere on June 24th! Here’s a synopsis:
When star racecar Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) and the incomparable tow truck Mater (voice of Larry the Cable Guy) head overseas to compete in the first-ever World Grand Prix, Mater gets caught up in an intriguing adventure of his own: international espionage!

I have seen Cars, and my impression was that John Lasseter is a genius when it comes to making a movie that boys will LOVE!

I’ve watched Cars probably 20 times with my two little grandsons. I loved it the first few times, but honestly I’m ready to move on to a new movie. Unfortunately the boys don’t agree.

Over all I really like Cars and the message – kind of redemption. But the innuendos have been more noticeable to me lately. My son does LOVE the characters and plays with his Cars all the time.
We’ve seen Cars, they’ve been playing it on Disney channel quite a bit lately too, and we love it. My daughter is even way into cars, period, so she likes it too. It’s super cute and I can’t wait to see number two.

I loved the cars movie but I wish it got to the point a little quicker. Lightning McQueen is a pretty bad person for the first 1/2-3/4 of the movie.

I love Cars! Dd isn’t too interested in it though. I bought it for ME when it first came out on DVD. I don’t even remember how long ago that was! I can’t wait to see Cars 2 but I’m thinking we may wait for it to be out on DVD. Not gonna waste the money at the theatre if dd isn’t going to enjoy it!

My son got the movie Cars for his birthday in April-so we’ve watched it MANY times since then! I think it’s a great movie. It’s nice to have a wholesome movie for my son to watch-and it’s funny and entertaining enough for us parents to watch it as well. It’s the best of both worlds and we can wait to see Cars 2 when it comes out!

I haven’t seen Cars – I actually read a review that said it had a surprising amount of innuendo for a Pixar film, which was disappointing since I love most of the other ones. Maybe soon I’ll check it out myself – my nephew is obsessed with it, and he’s coming to visit this summer. I know if I win this giveaway, he will be one happy little boy!

My two year old daughter LOVES Cars. Cars is to her what Finding Nemo was to my 7 year old daughter at that age. We all love the movie. I think the characters are great, funny, charming and down to earth (well most of them : ) As an adult I really did laugh out loud quite often during Cars I think it is equally as enjoyable for adults as it is for kids.
My boys (now 5 and 2) watch Cars at least once a week. It’s been a staple in our home for the last 3 years. They have Cars toys and play out the movie all the time!
